A total of twelve calls for a hit if the dealer also possesses a two through three. You should stand only in a scenario if the dealer has four through six or just hit. If you have a total somewhere between 13 and 16, hit. If the dealer has a two through six, stand. But if your total falls in the range of 1 to 21, at all times, stand. There is no other option other tan standing. In case, you have a soft hand i.e. a hand that contains an ace, you should follow the following steps only. If you end up with an ace six, hit. But if the dealer has a three through six, always double. If you cover an ace 4 or ace 5, hit. But if the dealer has a four through six, double. If you have an ace 2 or ace 3, double only if the dealer possesses a five through six, otherwise it is advisable to hit. If you have an ace 8 or ace 9, you should not even think once before standing. If you have an ace 7, always stand if the dealer has any one of the following cards i.e. two, seven or eight. But id the dealer has three through 6, double or else just hit.
