Tips and strategies

Published at 26. 5. 2009 in category Main

Now that you are quite familiar with all the tips and strategies involved with hands (both soft and hard), let us now tell you some special tactics to handle pairs. Pairs in blackjack mean a set of two identical cards for instance, pair of jacks. You should always choose to split if you have a pair of aces and eights. A pair of four calls for a split if the dealer has a five through six. In other circumstances you should choose to hit. If you have a pair of fives, always double down if the dealer also has a two through nine. You should otherwise go for hitting. A pair of six calls for a split only if the dealer has a two through six. You should otherwise try hitting. You should always stand, if you have a pair of tens. A pair of nines calls to stand if the dealer has an ace, seven or ten. You should split otherwise.  A pair of seven should call for a split as per condition two for seven, otherwise decide to hit. If you get all these mathematical figures correctly and practice as per the data provided above, there is no stopping you.
